I bought this to replace a 38 year old Craftsman. It sounds like it was a good machine. It wasn't It broke a hundred times I was just good at repairing it. Time to move on. So I researched and looked at this, and several other front wheel drive machines. One of the main requirements to me is the ease and availability of parts. It turns out Its as easy if not easier than Sears.br / This machines best feature to me is the veriable speed control. The harder you squeeze the faster it goes. This is br /handy on hills. The machine has plenty of power and a screenbr /type basket witch allows good pick up insted of leaves andbr /such blowing out from underneath. The only "Con" so far is br /the spring loaded flap that rests on top of the basket has three small hollow spots that fill with clippings. No biggy.br /Would I recommend this machine to a friend? Yes I would.br /The Price with shipping was better than local stores too.br /

Great mower, not a classic snapper, but an above average regular mower. - garrettp -
I've NEVER used a mower I didn't have to prime, pump, or manually choke. I put the oil in, gas, then pulled the pull cord and it started immediately. So far its done it on the first pull every time. This isn't the classic "Snapper" with the top-feed type chute, but it seems like quality parts, especially the briggs stratton engine. The wheel mounts seem a bit flimsly, especially for the larger back tires, but they work roll, and the height adjustment is easy.
